TERMS & CONDITIONS

Thanks for visiting our website, vima.art (the “Site”). This Site is operated by FAFCY LTD, a company registered under the laws of the Republic of Cyprus under Reg. No. 459405, having its' registered office at 155 Archiepiskopou Makariou III, Proteas house, 5 Floor, 3026, Limassol Cyprus (“VIMA Art Fair,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

VIMA Art Fair provides a service for viewing, selling and purchasing original works of art from galleries and artist collectives through live fairs (“Events”).

 

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Policy”). These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any other policies linked to herein, govern your access to and use of the Services, and constitute a binding legal agreement between you and VIMA Art Fair.

 

Your use of the Site constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not access or use the Site. Please note that by purchasing tickets to our Events, you agree to be bound by these Terms and the other documents expressly referred to in them. We reserve the right to make changes to the Site and to these Terms and Conditions from time to time. When we make changes, we will post them here. For this reason, we encourage you to review these Terms whenever you use our Site because, by visiting the Site, you agree to accept any such changes. VIMA Art Fair provides you with access to and use of the Site subject to your compliance with the Terms.

 

These Terms were most recently updated in February 2025.

Tickets

- We use a third-party ticketing agent more.com for the purposes of selling tickets or providing passes to our Events. The ticket agent processes all payments on our behalf. In addition to our Terms, by purchasing a ticket you agree to the terms and conditions outlined by our ticket agent:

- All tickets must be purchased and all passes must be claimed through More.com, and unauthorized resale is prohibited and may result in cancellation of admission privileges.

Admission

- Standard entry to the exhibition is priced at 25 euro (including a 5% VAT).
 

- 50% discount is available to the following group of people: full time-students (university and college students), seniors aged 65 and older and individuals with disabilities. Proof of eligibility such us student ID, ID card or disability certificate shall be requested for the discount. In addition, each eligible individual with disability is entitled to one free care ticket for an accompanying caregiver. Proof of eligibility is required.

- VIP and art professional tickets will be distributed via promo codes by invitation to galleries and their partners.

- A limited number of promo codes are available for partners granting them access to reduced or free admissions.

- You can only pay for tickets in advance of the event by using a debit card or credit card. No ticket sale will be taking place offline.

- In addition to the ticket price, the ticket agent may require payment of a booking fee per ticket, a transaction fee per order and/or other supplementary fees which may apply to the Event.

- Nobody will be allowed admission into the Event without a valid ticket or pass.
 

- Please check your details carefully before submitting an order. If you think a payment has been debited from your bank account incorrectly, or any of your details are incorrect, please contact the ticketing agent you purchased your tickets through.

- Should cancellation of the event be necessary we will contact all customers who have booked tickets to arrange an exchange or refund. This contact will be in the form of email, so you are advised to check your email inbox before visiting the Event to avoid an unnecessary journey should an event be cancelled.

- Returns are generally not provided, however can be done on a case-by-case basis (in case of emergencies on the side of the customer).

 

- In the event of a change of date, we will contact all customers who have booked tickets to inform them of the change. If you cannot make the new date, you will be entitled to a refund. Customers will need to contact the ticketing agent that the tickets were booked through.

 

- If the Event is rescheduled, changed, moved or cancelled the VIMA Art Fair cannot be held responsible for any resulting costs you may incur for travel, accommodation and other related goods, services or compensation.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY & PARTICIPATION

- VIMA Art Fair reserves the right to refuse admission or to eject any person appearing to be heavily intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, behaving dangerously or inappropriately, or for any other behaviour likely to cause damage, injury, nuisance and annoyance or for failure to comply with the reasonable request of the VIMA Art Fair.

- VIMA Art Fair does not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property brought to the Event. Visitors are responsible for any damage caused to artwork or other property, whether intentional or accidental. While we take every precaution to ensure a safe environment, the organizers and venue are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury that may occur during the event. Attendees are responsible for their personal property and safety while on the premises.

- All visitors and their belongings will be thoroughly inspected before entering the venue. Please cooperate with security staff at all times. Disruptive actions, including protests, vandalism, or failure to follow security instructions, may result in immediate removal from the event without a refund.

Prohibited Items

The following items are not allowed within the halls:

●      Large backpacks, suitcases, trolleys, large umbrellas, firearms, sharp objects, recreational wheeled devices (e.g., Segways, skateboards, bicycles), and drones.

Food & Drink Policy

Outside food and beverages are not permitted. We invite you to explore the variety of dining options available at VIMA Art Fair. More information regarding our catering options you can find at our website and social media closer to the event dates.

No Smoking or Vaping

Smoking or vaping is not permitted on the show premises.

Child Policy

-       Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

-       Each adult can only bring in one child.

-       Admission is free for children under 3 when accompanied by a ticket-holding adult.

-       Please remind children to walk at all times

-       Smaller children can be brought in baby strollers, which are permitted throughout the venue

-       By obtaining a ticket and attending the show, accompanying adults hereby consent to the viewing of all content at the show on behalf of minors under their care or custody.

Bag Policy

For safety reasons, large bags such as backpacks, crossbody bags, suitcases, and trolleys are not permitted inside the exhibition halls. Each visitor may carry only one bag, and smaller bags are allowed but will be subject to inspection. Any bags or items exceeding 23 x 15 x 18 cm must be checked. Items not complying with this policy will be prohibited.

Camera Policy

Small cameras (up to 16 cm x 12 cm x 8 cm) with a single lens no longer than 80mm in focal length are permitted. The use of larger cameras, tripods, selfie sticks, flash photography and drones is prohibited. Please check with the staff for designated photography areas.

Photography for Personal Use

Photography for personal use is allowed, as long as it does not disturb other visitors or damage the artwork. By attending the event, you consent to your image being used in non-commercial media and promotional materials.

Mobility Aids & Medical Devices

Visitors with disabilities are welcome to bring mobility aids such as wheelchairs, crutches, and prosthetic devices, as well as personal medical equipment.

Service Animals

Certified service animals are the only pets allowed in the exhibition halls. All other animals are prohibited.

Respect for Diversity

We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where all individuals, regardless of background, identity or belief are treated with respect and dignity. Visitors are expected to behave respectfully towards others including other visitors and exhibition staff. Discriminatory, offensive or inappropriate behavior will not be acceptable and may result in removal from the exhibition.

Personal Belongings

We recommend that you keep track of your personal items. The event organizers are not responsible for any lost or damaged belongings. For lost items, please email info@vima.art.

Any lost items should be reported immediately to  info@vima.art

Marketing Material Distribution

Distribution of flyers and promotional materials is only allowed with prior authorization. Unauthorized distribution will result in removal from the event.

Respect of Artwork

Visitors are required to avoid touching any artwork, installations or displays, unless explicitly indicated. Violations may result in removal from the premises.

PHOTOGRAPHY & FILMING POLICY

Video and photography usage

Images and video footage captured at VIMA Art Fair events may be published on the company’s promotional channels, including websites, social media feeds, printed collateral and advertising.

Notifying customers

All events notify visitors that photography or filming will be taking place, using special signs at the premises of the fair.

Right to Object

Importantly, under General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), individuals have the right to object to their images being processed. Due to VIMA Art Fair events taking place in public settings, it is not always possible for individuals to opt in or out of being photographed or filmed at an event. Where someone does object then VIMA Art Fair will make all reasonable attempts to avoid photographing that individual, and all identified images will be deleted on request at the earliest possible opportunity, this is unless there appears to be a reason why the image should be retained under data protection or other laws or duties.

If you have any objections for the processing of images captured by VIMA Art Fair photographers, please email info@vima.art, so we can formally record the objection before deleting the relevant images.

PURCHASING ARTWORKS

- Artwork purchases are conducted solely between the customer and the Exhibitor (gallery, artist collective or artist).

- If you have a question about a specific artwork, you should contact the Exhibitor directly in the first instance.

- For aftercare queries and customer support post-purchase, please contact the Exhibitor you purchased through directly.

Severance

If any of these Terms should be determined to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason by any court of competent jurisdiction then such Terms  shall be severed and the remaining shall survive and remain in full force and effect and continue to be binding and enforceable.
